Angelina Jolie: Actress and Activist

For actress Angelina Jolie, life isn't all about movie sets and red carpets. In addition to being a highly successful actress, she also works tirelessly to improve human rights all around the world. To help achieve this, she founded the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which is dedicated to getting rid of rural poverty, protecting natural resources and conserving wildlife. She has traveled to over 20 countries, including meeting with earthquake victims in Haiti.

Angelina also gets directly involved in politics to help promote the humanitarian causes she's passionate about. She speaks regularly at World Refugee Day and meets with members of Congress to lobby for the issues she thinks are important.
