In the movie, 'The Prince and Me(2004)', Denmark's prince, Edvard, sneaks out of Denmark and tries to enjoy a college life as other students do, hiding his identity. He meets Paige at school, and falls in love with her.

He proposes to Paige and Paige says yes, and goes to Denmark with him and lives in the palace and experiences what it is like to be in a royal family. Suddenly she realizes that living there means giving up on her medical career, and decides to leave Denmark and go back to her original plan to go to medical school. After she gets admitted to medical school, Edvard comes to her and tells her that he will wait until she finishes the program and fulfills her dreams.

The Princess Diaries (2001) is about a girl, Mia, who figures out that she is actually a princess of Genovia, a fictional country in Europe, and that she is going to be the ruler.
