While studying abroad, I took a trip to Hogwarts! Right now, you're probably all thinking, "this girl is crazy! Hogwarts doesn't really exist!" (And for those who aren't thinking this- don't read on if you don't want the magic revealed.)
And you're totally right- Hogwarts (unfortunately) isn't real, but the movies were filmed somewhere! And this somewhere is at the Warner Brother Studios, outside of London.
The photo above is a model of the castle, used for filming. It's actually the size of a large room! The studios also contain costumes, props, designs, sets and all kinds of cool info about Harry Potter.
If you're ever in London, I'd definitely recommend taking a tour of the studio! I promise, it doesn't ruin the magic at all!
